We had such a great time! In the beginning, Marla has you meet every dog and they are all so friendly and love attention. The entire experience is very hands on and everyone helps with the process of getting the dogs harnessed, hooked up, watered, etc. She explained the entire process very well and we enjoyed every minute of it. It is well worth it! If you are looking for a fun unique experience/adventure and you love dogs, then you should definitely do this!

Marla and her team were so amazing to share the experience of hooking up the sled dogs to running the sleds! My family and I enjoyed the group lesson and the experience of piloting the sled solo was like nothing I have ever done! Can't wait to do it again!!

An unforgettable and amazing experience! The dogs are all so well taken care of and absolutely love what they do. It is a very interactive experience and are able to be hands on with the dogs often. It is a very well run group and well worth it!

If you are a dog lover this is a MUST!!! These dogs are the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. This experience is entirely hands on and the bonds you form with these dogs in just 3 hours are incredible! Marla and her staff are friendly, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable.

We had a wonderful day hanging out with Marla and her dogs. It was a valuable hands-on experience where she showed us from start to finish what it would be like to get the dogs ready to mush. Constant petting of the dogs required!

An Alaskan Husky is a Person's Best Friend
This definitely was an experience that my fiancé and I won't soon forget. We purchased the Wilderness Adventure via Travelzoo since it was something we wouldn't have normally been looking for on our own. We both had a great experience. Neither one of us are dog owners ( in fact we are docile cat owners ) so we did not know how the dogs would act in a pack setting. There were about 20 different Alaskan huskies, all of them were very social and well trained by their owner Marla who was very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time trying to harness them and being led on a ride through the trail. 
The dogs are super fast and strong. We could tell that they all have unique personalities which makes the experience all the more worth the while. To sum it up; if you are looking for a fun and unique outing, and love animals then you should definitely check this adventure out.

My son just finished his first "puppy camp" at Hilltown Wilderness Adventures and it was everything and more!  He not only bonded with the dogs - he seemed to grow in self-confidence each day. They swam with the dogs, hiked with the dogs and even scooped up the dog poop!

I went here for my birthday, and my partner and I were happy to find that our three-hour experience was a thorough, fun introduction to sled dogs! We spent some time in the kennels learning about the dogs and we even went to meet the puppies. The owner, Marla, was very willing to answer questions and help each person in the group find a dog for the day. We took the dogs on an energetic and challenging hike  that took us down to a nice steam for dipping our feet in. When we got back to the kennel, we took care of the dogs and had some more discussion time about racing and breeding. Overall, we very happy to spend the day with such lovely animals!!
